Lentil Meatballs

Ingredients
  • 250 g cooked lentils
  • 1 roasted garlic clove
  • 1 sweet onion
  • 1/2 bell pepper
  • 40 g crushed Botko's Grain Free Crackers 
  • Spices to taste (cumin, oregano, thyme, etc.)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Homemade fried tomato sauce
Process
  1. Cut the bell pepper and onion and fry in a frying pan to soften. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients of the meatballs and integrate everything well until you get a homogeneous dough that can be handled. Shape with the hand to form more meatballs of the size you like best.
  3. In a frying pan with olive oil, fry the meatballs for 3 minutes. Add the tomato and cook for 5 more minutes. Serve with a little parsley or coriander on top.
